Hi Everyone!

We hope this finds you and your family healthy and well…and ready to get back to the field!  We have been working hard behind the scenes to come up with a safe program for your soccer players during this unprecedented time.  For Spring 2021, we expect to open for a shortened training season beginning about April 1 through May 14.  We plan to offer a fuller season in FALL 2021 when it is allowed!

We are excited to finally accept player and volunteer registrations for this Spring!  We will provide a training program to get your players back into shape to play soccer!

Players will receive a T-shirt and region face mask.

Volunteer trainers/coaches will be needed and will also receive a trainer’s kit (t-shirt, mask, cones and hand sanitizer) once they complete required on-line certifications (Safe Haven, Concussion Awareness, Sudden Cardiac Arrest and age appropriate Coaching course).   We will need more volunteers than normal!

This is a preview of what the program will look like:

• Players will be placed into age appropriate training groups of 5-14 players depending on age and number of players and volunteers.  No pods will be formed.
  
  
• Divisions 9U and up (those born 2012 and earlier) will train 1-2 times per week.
  
  
• Divisions 7U and 8U (those born 2013 and 2014) will train 1 time per week.
  
  
• Divisions 5U and 6U (those born 2015 and 2016) will train 1 time per week and require a parent/adult partner. There will be a lead trainer.
  
  
• For now, there will be no scrimmages or games
  
  
• EVERYONE entering and leaving the field will be required to wear a mask.Any persons not participating in the training activities will be required to keep their mask on at all times.
  
  
• All trainers, volunteers and players will be required to turn in a health questionnaire prior to participating each day.
  
  
• All players and parents will be required to sign an agreement to confirm their understanding of the safety guidelines.
  
  
• Trainers will lead players to work on individual training drills.
  
  
• Players will be allowed to remove their masks during strenuous activities or drills while maintaining their 6ft distance from others.
  
  
• All players and trainers will be required to remain 6ft apart at all times.
  
  
• All players will be required to bring their own soccer ball, mask, water and hand sanitizer.  It is strongly recommended for each player to bring a bag or backpack to carry personal items to minimize contact with other players’ gear.

(no in-person registration will be accepted)

Player Registration Process:

Fee will be $40 (this includes the $20 Non-Refundable National AYSO Player Membership fee valid through July 2021).  There will also be an additional Sports Connect service fee of $2.75.

If you were charged $72.75 (registration fee plus the service fee), you will be refunded the difference.

 Please make sure to include the CORRECT SHIRT SIZE for your player.  This will help the order process.

REGISTRATION WILL BE OPEN TIL April 15th

Volunteer Registration:

We will need additional volunteers this year…many more than usual due to smaller training group sizes.  

Without sufficient number of volunteer trainers, we cannot support a program that ensures the correct ratio of players to trainers to comply with the current COVID-19 safety guidelines.

Please register for the appropriate division for which you would like to volunteer.

We will need 1 trainer and 1 safety parent for each training group.

There will be 1 required on-site training session (date tbd) at the field to review basic logistics and procedures.

There will be an age appropriate training guide provided to each trainer.
